What to Wear to Work: Friday

Happy Friday!!!

Hey My Lovelies,

Thank God it's Friday, right? So this is my Friday work look. I decided on this look as Friday is usually when most people are going out after work for drinks, meals or what ever. I'm actually going to a good friend of mine's birthday dinner this evening, can't wait!

Anyway, I found this top in New Look and at first glance I thought it was a dress (embarrassed face). I love the colour, I don't have much pink to be honest, so it's a nice change. Obviously, the leather leggings are questionable depending what you do for a living (advice: dress appropriately for work!). But you can always dress it down with simple black cotton leggings. I'd also like to mention my new statement necklace which I love, after years of being into long thin necklaces, I've hopped onto the chunky statement piece necklace bandwagon!!

Anyway peeps, have a lovely weekend (and Bank Holiday) and I'll see you all soon!

Much Love,
Ri x

What to Wear to Work: Thursday

Hey My Lovelies,

Wow, it's May already!
And it's Friday tomorrow! Only one outfit left to go! I can breathe for a bit...

I've had these square patterned trousers a little while now and this is the first time I'm wearing them. I haven't been sure how to style them, so they've just been sitting folded on my top shelf in my wardrobe. This is quite a simple look, but fairly classy.

What to Wear to Work: Wednesday

My absolute favourite working outfit, I'm mad about anything high waisted and I'm absolutely in love with these high waisted trousers from H&M. I love that they have a line of satin on the back and side pockets. I have paired the trousers up with a dusty pink shirt, same as the one I wore on Monday and suede heels. Let's just hope it does rain!

What to Wear to Work: Tuesday

Yay! I've made it through day one of my new job, so here's my day 2 look of what I'm wearing to work this week. I absolutely adore this dress and I'm so glad I brought it. I love the pretty French style and it is nicely fitted around the waist. I've decided to leave it simple and not dress it up with too much jewellery.

What to Wear to Work: Monday

Hey My Lovelies,

I'm pretty excited today as it's my first day of a new job! It's always a bit nerve-wrecking going into a new environment, with new people, not knowing what the work culture will be like... But I've been feeling really ready for a change.

Anyway, with starting a new job, I always think about what I'm going to wear for my first day. It can be tough when you don't know what the dress code is. So throughout this week, I'll post pre-planned ideas on what I chose to wear for my first week on the job. Hopefully, it will give you a little inspiration if you are not sure what to wear for a upcoming job interview or if you're starting a new job soon. Hope you like!

I love this outfit as it's smart and professional, it's the typical working girl look. It is good especially if you don't know what the dress code is like. This little black blazer is my favourite and doesn't look too heavy, which blazers can sometimes do to me as I'm quite petite.

I'm really picky when it comes to shirts, as I can often feel restricted in them. I like going for silk shirts, but they can be very expensive. I found this shirt in H&M and the material is so soft on the skin, they come in a variety of colours too!

I've decided to make these my official work shoes! I realised that I don't actually own a pair of simple plain black heels. I found these on sale in Dorothy Perkins and they only had one left in my size, so I had to grab them up quick! Usually I don't like pointed shoes as I feel they make my feet look big lol, but I think these are quite flattering.
