Hey My Lovelies,
I'm pretty excited today as it's my first day of a new job! It's always a bit nerve-wrecking going into a new environment, with new people, not knowing what the work culture will be like... But I've been feeling really ready for a change.
Anyway, with starting a new job, I always think about what I'm going to wear for my first day. It can be tough when you don't know what the dress code is. So throughout this week, I'll post pre-planned ideas on what I chose to wear for my first week on the job. Hopefully, it will give you a little inspiration if you are not sure what to wear for a upcoming job interview or if you're starting a new job soon. Hope you like!
I love this outfit as it's smart and professional, it's the typical working girl look. It is good especially if you don't know what the dress code is like. This little black blazer is my favourite and doesn't look too heavy, which blazers can sometimes do to me as I'm quite petite.
I'm really picky when it comes to shirts, as I can often feel restricted in them. I like going for silk shirts, but they can be very expensive. I found this shirt in H&M and the material is so soft on the skin, they come in a variety of colours too!
I've decided to make these my official work shoes! I realised that I don't actually own a pair of simple plain black heels. I found these on sale in Dorothy Perkins and they only had one left in my size, so I had to grab them up quick! Usually I don't like pointed shoes as I feel they make my feet look big lol, but I think these are quite flattering.
