Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you mummies out there! Yesterday, for Mother's Day I went to a lovely little countryside pub called The Royal Oak in Oxted with Elliot's family. I love the countryside, it's just so tranquil and peaceful.

OUTFIT: Scarf - Accessorize | Jean Jacket - New Look | Dress - Primark | Sandles - H & M | Chain - Primark | Ring - Accessorize

For our starters, I had deep fried whitebait and Elliot had a prawn cocktail. The whitebait was very delicious, especially with a squeeze of lemon on it. For my main, I had the Thai king prawn red curry... I do wish I had ordered something else as it wasn't the best Thai red curry I had tasted and wasn't very filling, but was still very nice.  Elliot had a burger... as I'm not a huge meat eater, I decided not to try it, but he said it was very good.

Happy Mother's Day to my Mum in St. Lucia and to my Sister, Steph, who became a first time mummy back in January this year!

Fish in a tie

I recently invested in a tripod, it makes it so much easier for when there is no one around to take a photo for me (no more knocking on the next door neighbours door begging them to take a quick snap of me). It was a bit trail and error with the tripod, with the wind and trying to find the right location to place it, a few photos didn't come out as good as I'd hoped, but it's all a learning curve for me.

OUTFIT: Floral Bustier - H & M | White Sleeveless Blouse - New Look | Jeggings - Primark | Trainers - Barratts | Necklace - A Gift | Nail Polish - Barry M Blueberry

After messing around with the tripod, I met with my friend, Anne-Marie, who I haven't seen in months, so it was fantastic having a little catch up. We went to this cute little Mediterranean restaurant in Battersea called 'Fish in a tie'. I loved the old French style decor.

There was not much to choose from on the lunch time menu, but the food was still very good. I had the cod and chips and Anne-Marie had the rump of lamb. But as always, my favourite part was the dessert. We shared profiteroles and vanilla ice cream, which was so mouth wateringly good! The staff were friendly and welcoming too, which is always a plus.

Bloggers Fashion Week

Hey My Lovelies,
I was so exicted to be invited to my first blogger event! This week was Bloggers Fashion Week, a 3 day event created for all bloggers in Leicester Square and organised by Bloggers Love. The event included fashion shows showcasing a variety of brands, beauty brands, pamper sessions, treats and much more.

Each day had a dress code theme:
Monday: Summer Garden Chic
Tuesday: Mad Hatter's Tea Party Chic
Wednesday: All Black City Chic

Unfortunately, I could only make the Tuesday event due to other commitments,  but I had such a great time meeting so many wonderful bloggers and dressing up for this event. I decided to go as the Mad Hatter, but a fashionable Mad Hatter... I think I did pretty well, let me know what you think :)
