Meat Liquor

Hey My Lovelies,
Sorry if it's seems like I've been MIA, I usually blog 2-3 times a week, but have only managed to blog once. Shame on me! But I've been having a really fantastic week, I'm back on top of house hunting, I've bought myself a new camera so been trying out a few new camera tricks and I've been offered a new job, which I start end of April! So to celebrate, me and Elliot went out for a bite to eat. We went to a place in London called Meat Liquor, which was recommended by my friend Sandy. I abolustely loved this place, its my new favourite place to eat.

It was very different to your normal burger joint. I should say that if you don't like sitting in the dark with taboo images all around you and loud music, this is probably not your scene. I loved the decor, with its extreme revoluntionary, dark and alternative themes, it made it more fun and exciting to eat a burger! The music was loud and intense, but it was still possible to carry a conversation.

The food was sooo good! It looks like grubby backstreet food as they bring it out to you on a tray, but the taste is absolute quality. I ordered the "Dirty Chicken Burger" with fries and Elliot had a cheeseburger with cheesy fries. Sorry about the photo by the way, I had trouble with my camera so had to take some photos with my phone.

They do a wide range of cocktails, which have unusual names, such as "The Zombie" and come in cool jars. For dessert we order the Peanut Butter Sundae, which was crazy delicious.

The service was amazing. We were told we would have to wait 20 minutes and that we are welcome to sit by the bar and wait. As soon as we got to the bar, we were already being summonded over to our table. The waiter was very friendly and quite a funny guy, which was nice.

If you've been to Meat Liquor, then let me know what you think of it. Or if you know of any better
or your favourite burger place.

Have a good weekend peeps x

  1. I LOVE this place! But the queue is always half way down the street so sadly I have only managed to succeed in going the once - but it's oh so good! Your food looks fantastic! Congrats also on the job! x

    1. I know what you mean about the wait. Luckily we went a bit earlier so didn't have to wait in line, but when we came back out, the line was half way down the street!! You just have to choose your timings carefully. Thanks, I'm excited about it. And thanks for checking out my blog :) x
